A stunning display of red poppies appear in Worcestershire fields for a few weeks in June. The vibrant display is intensified after a soaking from a heavy downpour of rain which passed across the landscape minutes earlier. Sheltering myself beneath some trees and the camera beneath an umbrella, my patience was rewarded as the sun came out and was accompanied by some interesting clouds which nicely finished the picture.
